These Terms of Service govern your use of services provided by Endorse It With Ink, a licensed mobile notary service operating in Dorchester County, South Carolina. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Specialized Services

  • Estate Planning Documents
  • Real Estate Closings
  • Apostille Services
  • Business Documents
  • Healthcare Directives

Service Area: Ladson, Summerville, Goose Creek, North Charleston, Charleston, and Mt. Pleasant, SC

2. Client Responsibilities

By engaging our services, you agree to:

  • Provide Valid Identification: Present acceptable government-issued photo ID as required by South Carolina law
  • Prepare Documents: Have all documents ready and complete before the appointment
  • Understand Document Content: Be aware of what you are signing and be willing to sign voluntarily
  • Pay Agreed Fees: Remit payment for services as agreed upon scheduling
  • Provide Accurate Information: Give truthful and complete information for all notarial acts
  • Be Present: Appear in person for all notarizations (remote notarization available where legally permitted)

Required Identification

Acceptable forms of ID include: Driver's License, State ID Card, Passport, Military ID, or other government-issued photo identification.

3. Appointment Terms

Scheduling

Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Same-day service subject to availability.

Cancellations

24-hour notice required for cancellations. Late cancellation fees may apply.

No-Shows

No-show appointments are subject to full service fees and travel charges.

Travel and Timing

  • Travel fees may apply based on distance and time of service
  • Wait time beyond 15 minutes may incur additional charges
  • Emergency and after-hours services available at premium rates
  • Weather or safety conditions may require appointment rescheduling

4. Fees and Payment

Fee Structure

  • Notary fees are set in accordance with South Carolina maximum allowable charges
  • Mobile service fees cover travel time and convenience
  • Additional fees may apply for complex documents or special circumstances
  • All fees will be disclosed before service completion

Payment Terms

  • Payment due upon completion of services
  • Accepted: Cash, check, credit card, mobile payments
  • Business clients may arrange for invoicing
  • Returned payment fees apply for insufficient funds

Refund Policy

  • Services completed as requested are non-refundable
  • Refunds considered for service errors on our part
  • Client cancellation within 24 hours - no charge
  • Disputed charges handled case-by-case

5. Notary Standards and Limitations

Important: We cannot provide legal advice or assist with document preparation. We can only notarize completed documents.

We Cannot Notarize If:

  • The signer cannot be properly identified
  • The signer appears unwilling or unable to sign
  • The document is incomplete or contains blank spaces
  • We have a conflict of interest or personal interest in the transaction
  • The signer does not understand the document content
  • The document appears to be fraudulent or suspicious

Professional Standards

All services are performed in accordance with:

  • National Notary Association best practices
  • Professional ethics and confidentiality standards
  • Applicable federal and state regulations

6. Liability and Insurance

Limitations

  • Liability limited to notarial acts performed
  • Not responsible for document content
  • Maximum liability as per state law
  • Client responsible for document effects

7. Confidentiality and Privacy

We maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and documents in accordance with professional standards.

Record Keeping

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of South Carolina. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dorchester County, South Carolina.
